The software products consist of business application software, operating system software, entertainment software, middleware, developer software tools and security software. It offers a variety of systems such as servers, desktops, portable personal computers, tablet personal computers and personal digital assistants. It operates in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. In 2003, the group acquired Ingram Macrotron AG.
